For the last 2 years now, I have been dealing with ongoing ovarian cysts that don't seem to go away. I have had 3 surgeries within the last 2 years to remove ovarian cysts as well as a post-op infection in 2005. This past December 2007, I went in for my third surgery involving cysts (i had 1 ovarian cyst and one mass). Within the last 2 years, i have had well over 10 cysts. To be quite honest, at this point.. it's really too hard to even keep track of how many I have had. With each surgery, my doctors have taken out 2 cysts, both cysts measuring well over 7cm's each time. Now, 3 months after my 3rd surgery, I am beginning to feel pain again (nothing that I can't handle).. nothing nearly as bad as before but it scares me that this thing that has plagued me for the last 2 years will never leave me alone. I have a doctors appointment on Friday with my gynecologist and I don't know if she is going to want to do an ultrasound. I feel like over the last 2 years, my doctors have just been focusing on the fact that I have cysts but not why I'm getting them. They cause horrendous pain and the last 2 years of my life have been a living hell. Please, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really scared that now 3 months after my 3rd surgery, I might have another cyst. I want them to stop noticing that I'm getting these cysts and start figuring out why I'm getting them. Please help!
Hope and Faith to all
