I also have a B-12 deficiency and PCOS. I don't however think the two are related. My B-12 ranges between 100-300. My doc says they'd like to see it between 400-1000. I've tried pills and shots to no avail, so she's sending me for an additional test to see if it's intake of B-12, or my body's inability to absorb the B-12. I am a vegetarian, but I eat eggs and cheese which both have B-12, so w/ that and supplements I should be good. We'll see. I do have symptoms from the low B-12, like low engery and neuropathy in my hands and feet. It's been going on for about 2 years. The PCOS has been forever. I'm 33 now, and have yet to find any good depilatory, or med that helps w/ the hair growth. Mine has gotten worse with time. I've been shaving almost everything since I was 14. (arms, face, stomach, butt, etc) it *****. Maybe someday they'll cure it. The newest symptom is male pattern balding on the top of my head.. that's right hair loss. My hair is thick all over but the very top. It's not blatently obvious now, and I can style my hair around it. but.. it's definitely thinning.
I'm sorry I don't have good news.
Hope any of this helped.
