Hello,
I don't think this is going to help but i can only say what i know. I am also on clomid but a tablet form, never heard of it done via a injection. People with pcos have a higher risk of miscarriage from what i have read and there is a drug called metformin which could help to prevent this - again this is from what i have read.
I fell pregnant on my 2nd mth of clomid but miscarried last week.
I prey that this works for you and all goes well x
Thanks for the reply chan1983.
My clomid treatment is also on tablet form. I was told by my doctor to come back on the 14th (my fertile period) to have an ultrasound done to check if my eggs have fertilized. If that is the case, she will give an injection that will release the fertilized egg.
I just find the injection part not common, any thoughts?
I'm really sorry but i do agree with you i do find it strange (not common) to do this by injection, but then i'm not a doctor so really wouldn't like to say too much. I would advised you to speak to your doctor or a nurse about this and see what they say. This way you can get all the right information you need.
Let us know how you get on, good luck.
