MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
PCOS is characterised by multiple cysts that are placed at the periphery of the ovary. These are very small. Pain can be due to pelvic infection, or PCOS or endometriosis etc. Exact diagnosis can be done with the help of an examination and an ultrasound scan. Consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation.
Hope this helps.
