Gestational diabetes

Hi all,

I was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2007 while trying to conceive and i was put on Metamorfin and i started exercises and eating healthy. I was able to conceive in August and I with the help of clomid after 3 cycles of trying, am now 27 Weeks pregnant, my ds will be turning 4 in April and he was a very big baby of 5.1 Kgs. I will be going for a Glucose challenge test tomorrow and i am worried about the results, in addition, My sis had GD when she was pregnant and my Mum has type 2 Diabetes - so i have all possible causes.  I just need your prayers that the results may come back negative.

Thanks - Ruth.

Hi,

My results are back and for sure i have GD. Tell me - were you on medication? I would like to control it using diet and exercise. How big was your baby - did you have a normal delivery - wanted to try VBAC this time around but the way things are looking i may not be able.
