Hi

I'm not sure how there system works but I can't see any reason why this would affect you unless your weight was a problem. I would go back your doctor and ask them to do the investigations for PCOS (usually hormone blood tests & ultrasound scan)

Hi,
Polycystic ovaries or PCOS is a symptom complex that includes scanty & irregular menstruation, excessive weight gain & excessive hair & infertility. Weight reduction & medications like metformin will be of help. Whether PCOS will disqualify you from military service, the military Doctor will be in a better position to tell. Hope this helps.
Take care and good luck.
