PCOS & Hormones

I was diagnosed w/PCOS not necesarily bc i had cysts in my ovaries but because my testostorone levels were high. My hormones are all out of wack. The doc prescribed Metformin, which I never took bc I was afaid of the side effects. I was wondering if any of you have been diagnosed due to hormone imbalances as well.

I've been diagnosed with PCOS due to my hormones being out of whack... my ultrasounds have all come back normal and cyst free...

I started taking Metformin in November, I'm hoping that it works for me, although I've read that it can take a year or so to start working... the only side effect that I've encountered has been diarrhea, but it's getting better with time.

I am in the process of getting diagnosed with pcos due to my hormones being out of wack. I just finished my first cycle of clomid and had one good folicule. Had the trigger shot. But this cycle was a no go as far as getting pregnant.:(

I have pcos and have no cyst problems its mainly hormone problems. I have been taking metformin for a year now. Dont be afraid of the symptoms there not that bad and there not for ever. once your body get used to it you will feel normal. the only symptoms I got were headachs, dirrea, some nuaseas feelings but never through up. I learned that if you keep food in your belly you will feel alot better. it will only be like that for a week. And some women dont even get any symptoms. It wont hurt to try.
