PCOS and PMS??? I really need some help!

I am 26 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS 4 months ago.  I have been on Mono-Nessa ever since.  My problem is that the day I start the placebos, my hormones go into overdrive and I have severe PMS.  It was bad before for the 2 weeks before but now it feels like all of the same feelings, pain, etc.  have crammed themselves into the 4 days between my first placebo and when I start my period.  I am constantly anxious, on edge, and always feel like screaming, crying, and hitting something.  It has made work very difficult.  I know it is just withdrawal from hormones and I know it takes time to regulate, but this last one was worse than ever and worse than before I started taking BC.  I am just wondering if I were on a pill with less placebo time and more hormones (like Yaz) if that would help at all?  Or is this normal and to be expected?  My rx will need refills after this pack and if this is normal I don't want to waste my time/money on a Dr. visit.  If I would benefit from it changing then of course I would go in.  My Dr. isn't in again until Tuesday so I could really use some advice.  Thanks!!!!!

I come from New Zealand and I was 16 when I got diagnosed wih PCOS. Recently I was put on a contraceptive pill they give to PCOS suffferers called Ginet 84. And I am just coming thru the first month being on it now and I also had major pms symptoms, as well as having uber heavy bleeding when my period arrived. As far as  can tell, my body is still trying to adjust to the medication. I would advise to wait and see if everything settles down but only after consulting a doctor about your concerns

Hmm, I never took that pill. I've only been on Yasmin and seems to be working (yes I know about the pending lawsuits and serious side affects, but most birth controls have the same thing). I only had a problem the first month I started taking them. On the week without the hormones, I would cry and be an emotional wreck. But after that first month, I was ok and my body went back to normal. They say to give the pill 3 months to regulate into your system...I think this pill your on now is probably just not good for your body. You probably need something a bit less harsh. Talk with your doctor.
