PCOS?

Hi guys!
So I'm 15 years old and I recently discovered that I have PCOS. I've always had bad acne, some weight issues, depression and excessive hair growth, but I never knew what it was until now. I'm fair skinned, and my hair is thick and black and there is so much of it! I'm so embarrassed by it. I could shave in the morning and come back home after school and shave again. I started shaving my arms, legs and bikini line around 12 and now it's exhausting and unbearable to keep up with. My skin is also extremely sensitive so every time I shave I get rashes, ingrown hairs and they don't go away. I have scars around my bikini line from shaving. I'm pretty pain resilient, but waxing hurts to the point to where I'm in tears. I live right on the coast, and I avoid going to the beach or the pool at all costs. Emotionally, I can't handle dealing with this anymore. What can I do?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For acne or excess hair growth, a water pill (diuretic) called spironolactone (Aldactone) may be prescribed by the physician under monitoring of potassium levels and kidney function. She can use Eflornithine , cream medication to slow facial hair growth in women. Electrolysis and over-the-counter depilatory creams are other options apart from laser hair removal.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You can seek out a dermatologist if you haven't already to help with the acne. If I was you i would talk to my parents about laser hair removal. Its a long shot but you can try. Good luck
