Miscarriage and PCOS
Does anyone know if a miscarriage could lead to poly cystic ovarian syndrome?

To my knowledge, no, PCOS isn't caused by miscarriage, but actually it goes the other way around. PCOS can cause problems with fertility, which can lead to miscarriage in some women.
PCOS is usually either spontaneous (genetic) or caused by problems with insulin. The hormones throw your whole body out of whack. My PCOS is genetic and caused me to be insulin resistant for a few years when I was younger. Thankfully, I got that under control.
The warning signs of PCOS are irregular or absent period, excessive facial or body hair, weight gain, trouble losing weight, and bad acne. You can have your testosterone levels drawn to see if you have PCOS. If you think you might, go to your gyno and ask about being tested.

I agree with lynleyellen......having pcos puts you at a higher risk of miscarriage!

I don't know, but I do know that women with PCOS have a higher risk of miscarriage on the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
I've gotten the impression that you either have PCOS or you don't. I don't think it can be caused later in life if you haven't always had it. That said, it's possible that certain events or physical changes to a woman's body, like miscarriage, can make the presence of previously undiagnosed PCOS known by increasing symptoms.
