Oh ok thanks. I think that BC will be my last choice. I have heard to much bad about taking it.
My doctors told me if I got on BC it would help regulate/stabalize my hormones, maybe thats what your manucurist was talking about. If you regulate your hormones it would probably help to get pregnant.
I think i will wait on trying this. I am hearing more bad then good on this subject. I went and got some Vitex and i am gonna give it a try.
My gyn at the time told me that I shouldn't TRY to get pregnant until I'd been off them for three months because my body may not filter out all the meds and might miscarry in that first 90 days. Granted, it's been 15 years since any of this was relevant to me but I had a lot of friends back then who did miscarry if they got pregnant right away. It's my understanding that part of what makes the time frame vary is dependent on how long you've been on the meds to begin with.
It's usually recommended that you wait a few months after stopping hormonal birth control before you try to conceive. Your body rebalancing its hormone production can mess up the early stages of pregnancy.
You shouldn't have problems getting pregnant after being on birth control, though the length of time it takes to get pregnant varies from individual to individual just as it would if they had never taken birth control.
If you're asking if deciding to go on birth control and then getting off it after three months and trying to conceive, then, no, it's not going to increase your chances.
