i had all the tests done because i use to have painful periods my doctor thought i have HSG blocked fallopian tube. but it came back fine. i only had PCOS. so i was put of metformin and clomid. here in UK they give you 6 rounds of clomid. i got pregnant on 6th round. i was ovulating normally. i use  to have menstrual cycle before between 37-35 days then clomid got me back to 28-30 days of cycle. so i hope it works for you :). alot of people get pregnant one first round depending on there body :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Induction of ovulation with clomid will give results in women with PCOS. However it is necessary to confirm the patency of fallopian tubes to ensure success. Can be taken for 2 to 3 months and then reviewed if no results. Consult an infertility expert in case of difficulty.
Hope this helps.
