abnormal bleeding

Hey so I am kind of new to PCOS I was diagnosed back in April this might be a long but I really need advice!

so far I have lost 40 pounds taking Metformin (sp?) also diet and exercise.  My doctor also had put me on Gianvi as a birth control and it worked awesome everything was finally regular until my drugstore had changed my birthcontrol to larnya which is another version of Gianvi but halfway through the month I started to bleed I thought it was breakthrough bleeding so my doctor put me on Beyaz and told me to take 2 a day until the bleeding stopped and then the next month they will put me back on Gianvi or on Yaz (which is technically still the same thing)She also said I could skip the iron pills and skip my actual period because I had been bleeding.   2 weeks later I finally stop bleeding and this past Monday I started the new pack and today I get my period again!

So now I dont know what to do, do I just say screw it and take the iron pills and give myself a period or keep taking the actual pills and hope it stops the bleeding .

Has anyone else had abnormal bleeding problems.  It puts me in a horrible mood and its getting really anoying. I dont know how much more of this I can take :(
