I'm like you and didn't have problem's getting of with my son (he's now 9) but I am w/baby 2. no one in my family has PCOS or anything close to it either.......Clomid didn't work when we tried it but we where half a$$ing it......I do know people who clomid did work so don't despair.....did they up your dosage 2nd time? Are they monitoring you during this? .......I've been pg twice, once ended in miscarriage but both times I wasn't on meds and I definitely have PCOS......if clomid doesn't work you may need metformin an insulin med with it or perhaps just alone to help "balance" your hormones.......are you seeing an infertility specialist or a reproductive endocrinologist? They tend to actually find out why you can't get pg, and are more aggressive with treatments.....one other thing are you "heavier" now than you were when you got pg before? Weight gain tends to make PCOS symptoms more severe. I myself am bout 20lbs heavier than I was when I got pg with my son so that could be playing into it.......also sorry I keep remembering things, but with PCOS our hormones are all wacky. So if you are ovulating on your own it just may be a "timing" thing. Sperm & egg aren't in the same place at the same time.  A "normal" person ovulates around the same time every month.  We don't. We could ovulate 10 days after our period starts (CD10) or 30 days after (CD30) or anywhere in between or not at all.....biggest thing tho and I know its hard but relax, don't stress, have fun.
