I have multiple cysts on my ovaries and they found a large one just like yours on my left.  I started taking 2000 mg of metformin a day and conceived 2 month later.  Metformin works as long as you take a minimum of 1500 mg a day.  But basically if you want to get pregnant take metformin and eat only low glycemic index foods. That's it, especially if you're not over or under weight (maintaining a healthy weight is important which happens naturally on a low gi diet).  Many docs don't know that's all it really takes to conceive with pcos.
