please help!!!

I have a regular doctor she put me on metformin I started it on sept 24th I'm not pregnant yet. Would I have to go to an ob/gym in order to get a prescription for clomid or would my regular doctor be able to. Me and my husband have been ttc for well over a year and I just found out I have pcos early sept. I'm a mess with all the worry and depression. Please any Info would help. Have a nice percentage of women acheive pregnancy on clomid? We really want a child. I'm 28 and my hubby is 36 we are both getting up in age so the sooner we get pregnant the better

I did two rounds of clomid which got me pg but ended in miscarriage.  I ended up getting pg the old fashioned way after changing a few things.  I started eating more natural.  (no margarine artificial colors, sweetners) I ate low glycemic (and lost weight)  I exercised more and found a great acupuncturist (highly reccomend this).  Clomid *****!  Metformin gave me terrible stomach aches.  Good Luck!
