what to do??

hello all....am really confused and need some advice from u guys. i started using the ovulation predictor strips on 1st of this month. on 3rd it gave positive result. just to make sure i asked my husband to read the result and he also said that it was positive. now, according to that, i assumed that my periods would come  around 16th-18th of this month. usually i menstruate after 14-15 days of my positive result on OPK. so, i was waiting for watever s gonna happen, around 13-14th...i started having lower belly cramps, bloating and lower back pains similar to periods so i tht may b periods coming, but it didnt come. nothing else happened. i had cramps on and off, they were mild then everything went normal. so i was kind of hopeful that may b im preg:(...didnt want to get my hopes too high but i guess all of u can understand the feeling. first i thought i should wait till the end of this month and then take the HPT, but my sis told me to take the test today on 26th. i was TERRIFIED literally coz ive had really bad experience with the tests before and i wanted to wait, but anyhow, i took the test today. it came negative. :((. now am super depressed. dont know wat to do...this thing never happened to me like having the OPK positive and missing my period and negative preg test. should i wait more?? or i dont know...Also, i took OPK again today and it was positive:-s.....can someone else had this thing before?? 2 OPK positive in same month on veryyyyyyyyy different dates and no menses inbetween...it sounds crazy to me...what should i do?????:(

If you have pcos, using OPK may not be the way to detect ovulation. My doctor adviced me that women with pcos can give off false positives on an OPK cause of our hormones. IMO, if your gonna use the OPK use a digital one, as I've heard those work better with those who have pcos. I have no personal expierence with OPK, as I don't use them.
