HPT

I'm 44 and almost 7 weeks along.  Someone recently told me that menopause can cause a false positive on a home pregnancy test. I've had no prior menopause symptoms and regularl periods, has anyone else ever heard of this?  Also a little concerned because I still haven't had any morning sickness.

This is my second pregnancy.(9w4d) I never felt different while pregnant.  No sickness, no cravings. Don't worry.

As above the only point you make the hormone detected by a HPT is during pregnancy.

You do not get a false positive pregnancy test whilst in menopause....not sure why someone would say that to you.

I was older than you when pregnant with my son and never had one moment of morning sickness.  You haven't had any menopause symptoms and actually are too young to get them, the average age is 52 in the U.S. I think.  Don't worry.
