Hi Karen,

I've been tracking my period for many years, and I've only gotten it early on two occasions-- once it was just stress, and the other time it turned out that I had a bacterial infection. I guess my body was trying to rid itself of that. It was just vaginosis, for which I was given 2-3 days worth of antibiotics. Might be worth getting checked if you haven't been to your gyno for awhile. (Stress, meds or just your pH balance being off can also cause the bad bacteria to grow!)

Hi Karen -

I can't shed much light on it except to say that the exact same thing happened to me one month, when I was 39 or 40! Never happened again - periods always as regular as clockwork. No explanation. I've never been pregnant as far as I know.

Best wishes,
~Wendy
