the same thing happened to me and still going on.my baby girl delivered in nov 2015 and i was on propranolol(inderal)for the last five months of pregnancy for bad tachycardia.it never happenwd in my last 2 pregnancies.since then im on round to cardiologists and physocologists and nobody seems to bother cuz as per them its in my head as all echo ecg etc came back normal..but recently on holter they caught SKIPPED beats but still they say its nothing ro worry about and suggested to have lipid profile.waiting for the results.but i swear its not in my head .its for real and the heart beat becomes irregular evwn while lying down.it never happened during pregnancy but only after dwlivery just 20 days postpartum.its been 2 yrs now and im still unable to find out the root cause of my irregular heartbeat and very upset.but a hope is keeping me alive that it happens and im not alone.i dnt know if my hormones arw to blame or what as im not a dr.but im seriously tortured by these arrythmia episodes.still fighting for finding the cause.waiting for cholestrol test results.on propranolol 20mg daily.it reduces the thuding of the irregular beats but they happen almost daily.
I had arrythmias going into my pregnancy, I had a missed miscarriage so the baby stopped developing at 8 weeks but I didn't have a start to miscarry/ have a D&C till 14 weeks, so I am not sure exactly how it would have been with a normal pregnancy at that time, but I have unsustained ventricular tachycardia as well as unsustainede supra ventricular tachycardia and know exactly what the feeling is that you are talking about. I am medicated on betablockers (pregnancy level B) and that helps a lot. I was told by my cardiologist to see him at least one a trimester and adjust meds as necessary since class B is considered safe, only drawback with medication is that you (usually) are not supposed to breastfeed on it, but if yours is simply due to pregnancy you should be able to go off of them to breastfeed. Hope this helped a bit!
