No Heart beat US dates 6+2 The expected date IVF 8+7

I am so worried but yet i am still believing in a positive outcome. I am two weeks behind on my pregnancy US measuring 6+2 weeks with no heart beat. Expected date is 8+7 weeks frozen embryo transfer. My period cycle was irregular for the last 3 months with last period being early 4 days and had late ovulation.
I have another US scheduled next week.
Has anyone else had the same or similar experience? Is there still hope ?

This is a hard question.  I'm sure you are stressed and I believe whole heartedly that you should remain hopeful and optimistic. It's not over until its over. While it's probably not the normal situation with IVF transfer, I'm sure it has happened.  The only issue is they know exact dates of things unlike natural conception in which it can be unclear.  I'll say a little prayer that it all works out.  Do you have any other stored eggs in case this transfer didn't take?  Sometimes it takes more than one round of IVF.
