Hi
I think u should speak to your dr, I don't think they would send u for mri's unless it was really nesasary in pregnancy. Write a list of questions and call your dr xx

yea, you are right! i didnt think you could get an MRI scan whilst pregnant, if the doctors are concerned they will probably scan baby when born. do what you feel best for you & baby. i know thats useless but if you are unsure you can always speak to your midwife. good luck

hi thanks for getting back to me, im just wondering now if i should go ahead with the MRI and try to find out or i should wait untill she is born and enjoy my last few weeks pregnancy... otherwise im going to put myself through more waiting and worry. surely if it was a BIG problem i would be in hosp now??

hi, not sure about this but i googled it and found this "CSP is present in 100% of fetuses, but over 85% of them fuse by 3–6 months after birth. It has been loosely associated with schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and chronic brain trauma". I think the key is loosely so in my opinion i would not worry too much, especially if its right in that it will more than likely heal after birth? I guess you cant really tell until you have the MRI or give birth? good luck xo
