I think of u ask ur doc can prescribe a stool softner for you... And Idk how your diet is but I would definitely stay away from starchy food that could plug u up! Apple juice or coffee usually get the bowels moving. Good luck
Okies thanks so much ! def going to give the coffee a go! =]
My ob told me up to two cups a day is safe :-). But thats the only caffeine I drink all day.
Really! I might give that a go.. is coffee safe when pregnant yeah lol x
I find just one cup of coffee every morning gets me going lol. If I don't drink it for a day I don't go! Lol it's weird how coffee does that lol.
I heard that any fruit begining with the letter P should help but dunno how true that is! As sorenr said tho its normal for your body to have a 'clear out'.

thanks ! i'm having a water birth (hopefully) and don't want any floaters haha !! so so gross I know lol ... I'm a bit the same bran flakes dont really do it for me and the thought of prune juice makes my stomach turn.. and I dont think ive ever tried a prune lol !... i used to take fybogel it is also useless to me!... hmm well i'm for sure not trying out castor oil.. i'm just going to have to give the prune juice a go =/ lol x
Ach you wont care!! I promise!! I honestly wish I could help, Ive no ideas, Ive been bad for seven years now and not found a perfect remedy. Try bran flakes, I sprinkle oats on the top, sometimes that helps. Apparently prune juice is good too but I cant stand the thought so dont know...ask at the chemist if you can get fybogel over the counter..its not the nicest and its never done me much good but might be worth a try x
Do you know anything I could take cause im terrified of pooing whilst in labour.. its not an option lol so id rather et cleared out now lol.. thankyou x
You'll probably have a 'clear out' the day or 2 before labour starts, I have IBS and am always a little constipated but the day before I had my last baby I managed to go a number of times. I was still quite bad though the next day (even did the dreaded pooping on the floor during labour!) but she was born after only 4hrs of labour so I wouldnt say it slowed it down!! Good luck x
Yeah iv'e had it throughout too.. so annoying! want it to stop NOW though lol cant find anything on the internet grr
ewwww im going through this now and i drink heaps of water doesnt help.. im only 27w but its annoying me
I'll give my GP a call in the morning =]
Yeah thanks very much =]!!
My doctor says milk of magnesia is okay to take. It should make you go. Just make sure you drink plenty of water. I'd call my doctor to make sure it's okay though.
