Is stomach pain normal?

So I'm 17 and my husband and i just found out two days ago that I'm pregnant, i havent went to the doctor or anything yet I dont have an appointment til thursday but I've been having awful lower stomach pains, no bleeding or anything to that sort. Could i be having a miscarriage or is this normal? :(

You should be fine, but if its really bad it could be signs of an ectopic. Depending on where the pain is and how far along you are, you may get an ultrasound to confirm that its not ectopic. Thats what they did for me :) so I got to see baby early! Congrats Lil mama!

the cramping is most likely your uterus expanding. totally normal. contact your OB right away and make sure that this pregnancy is a legit pregnancy, not hysterical or Ectopic. im sure you will be fine.

I would say it was normal. I got stomach and side cramps a lot during the first trimester with both my pregnancies, and also with this pregnancy. Congratulations. I just found out as well. Stay strong, but if it does get worse or you start bleeding a visit to the emergency room couldn't hurt. I wish you and your baby the best.

By the way I appreciate all of yalls comments, this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what should and sholdn't be happening so I'm pretty scared. We only have one obgyn in the area i live in so it takes atleast like 3 weeks before you can even get an open appointment, how can i get an ultrasound sooner to make sure everythings ok?

My husband and i founf out.i was pregnant when i was 18. I had the same problem and it is normal depending.on the severity. Its a combination of your uterus expanding attachment of the egg and the lining of your uterus changing. I would douvle check with your.ob though just to be safe.

An ectopic pregnany is when The egg attaches somewhere besides the.uterus, most commonly the falopian tubes.

Aw yay! Thats exciting :) im sure everything is fine, ive been cramping since 6 Weeks. As long as you arent curled up in a ball from the pain then I wouldnt worry about ectopic. Congrats Lil mama :)

It all just depends some people don't hear the heart beat till 12 weeks. I was about 8 Weeks when I herd my little boys heart beat tho: ) I'm 18. I just turned 18 November 1st. And I'm also married! I'm now 33 weeks with a healthy little boy. And if your not bleeding I wouldn't even worry about the cramping.

When I was newly pregnant like that, I had downright HORRIBLE menstrual-like cramps. It affects some people worse than others.

Haha I'm 18+6 and I still worry constantly. I just have to step back and breathe and tell myself that everything is alright.
