Labor story

So on 39 w 6 d I went to my doctor appointment to see if they wanted to enduce me because my baby was measuring 9lb 6oz. They did a stress test and my baby wasn't doing so good. His fluids were low and wasn't moving that much. So they decided they were definitely going to induce me. They started me on pitocin around 5pm the contractions started within 15 minutes and slowly got more painful. The only crummy thing about pitocin is that you have to stay strapped to an iv . And they want to constantly monitor the baby so when I tried walking around and bouncing on a ball which felt great. The monitors would move and as spent 20 minutes trying to get it to stay. So I that was annoying. When I laid on the bed that is when it was the worst. Finally after an hour of that I asked for an epidural. Which I'm so glad I did. Although I had to stay in bed I could still lift my legs and move around feel the contractions and  pressure I just couldn't feel the pain. Which was amazing. I started to progress really fast. Then when I was dilated to a 4 the doc on call wanted to break my water to get things going. Which next time I will put off as long as I can because as soon as she broke my water the baby heart beat dropped. He did recover  but after being very stressed. I almost had to have a c section again. I was so worried. Every time I have had a contraction his heart dropped. I they had to put water back in me to cushion the umbilical cord which wad getting crushed. After they did that he was doing ok. by 10 pm I was ready to push. I delivered at 1033.
