My family doesn't agree with my baby boys name. Beacuse it's ajr. Do what you and your husband want don't worry about what they say they will love it either way!
I think thats such a cute boy name!!!
He will probably get picked on. . And he will probably have to use a nick name
It's absolutely ridiculous when family or friends feel the need to make you question your name choice. It is your first child and incredibly special to have a name you and your husband feel a connection to. Me and my husband have decided on a name for boy or girl (we don't know what we are having yet) and got negative feedback from my husband's younger sister. It can so annoying so I totally understand. I this Ross is a wonderful name, so don't doubt yourself. Go with it and be happy! :)) congratulations on your first child
I've been getting negative feedback also after telling people what I'm naming my daughter but I don't care! Everyone names their child what they want to so what gives anyone the right to judge you about your baby's name?! I've never heard of a name being out dated!
If you love the name you picked then choose it. Your family should be happy for you instead of giving you negative feedback. This is your child and it's your choice to name him what you please. Don't let someone sway your name you picked cause they don't like it. Plus I think it's a adorable name! It's different and may be out date to them but no one will have it. Goodluck, and remember it's your child :)
Such a relief to hear some support. :) thanks ladies
It's your child, & only you and hubby should love the name. Once Ross Jacob gets here your family will get over it. Do what you both feel is right & what you both love.
I don't see anything wrong with it. Tell those people they can name their kids what ever they want. If you like a name, go with it. It's a perfectly nice name. Tell anyone who disagrees to chew on a flip flop.
I think it is not outdated at all! Besides, old fashioned names are in anyways so even if it was, he'd be fine. Ross is a good name. Keep to what you want mama!
