Pregnant?

So I'm 16 & my boyfriend & I have been having sex. Well recently we had unprotected sex & I was in the fertility part of my cycle. We had sex 3 days before ovulation. Could it be possible that i may be pregnant? Please help cause this is a scary situation.

Well we r normally really careful about everything, but I didnt knw when I was ovulating/fertile so we discussed what is gonna happen if I am.
He has a job & a car & I drive & have school. His mom is supportive of anything, my parents not so much. We r getting married after I graduate high school this year.I do love my partner, if it comes down to me being pregnant I will be done w/ partying & all of that. I don't do it that much anyways.

I didn't read the last tfew posts, so I hope that I don't repeat something someone else has said already... But I was pregnant at 15 and had a baby at 16.  I am mature, and always have been for my age, but there are a lot of ways looking back that I was not ready for my baby.  A lot of them.  And I have had to work backwards to try to get on a level playing field as far as maturity and advancement.  I also didn't know a lot about people at the time, and had no idea how nieve I was about his father.
But my son is healthy and happy and I do the best I can as a mother and always have.  But I do realize now how much easier it would have been if I would have waited, which is what I am doing right now.

In any case, you need to take a pregnancy test if you are late for your period, and perhaps go see a Dr. for a blood test for more accurate results.
If you are pregnant right now, all this info is useless to you.  If you aren't pregnant, you need to start considering your life in detail and make a decision for yourself, and consider taking the initiative to be responsible and take the precautions that go along with it.

Things do happen. If you are engaging in unprotected sex then that means you aren't preventing pregnancy. If you aren't preventing pregnancy then yeah, eventually you probably will get pregnant. I guess what I'm trying to say is that even though you aren't trying to get pregnant, you aren't trying not to either.

My husband brings in over two grand a month and it takes every bit of that to keep us going. Anyways, all you can do now is wait until your expected period and test with first morning urine. If you aren't pregnant I would strongly suggest birth control. Good Luck.

And things don't have to "happen" if you're responsible enough to take measures to try and prevent them. If they did while on BC and using condoms that's one thing. NOT actively preventing is another thing completely.

I promise, you're not the only girl that claims you're responsible for your age. We get them all the time, and honestly actions show maturity. At 16 years old, I highly doubt you're able to handle a child. Have you graduated high school, do you have a job, does your partner have a job, when are you two getting married (because after all, if you're wanting children with him you must intend to stay with him for the rest of your lives) do you own your own place or rent, how do you intend to get food, formula, diapers, wipes, gas, do you both have your own cars? Children cost a LOT of money, and very few teenagers do it alone.

Yes children are fun but you will miss a lot if you decide you want to become pregnant now. Unless you're also going to say (like the other girls) that you're done partying, you've lived life, you love your partner and that your only desire is to have children.

I'm not trying to get pregnant, but things happen right? ...& my bf & I have talked about this before. If it happens we will handle it how we should, but abortion won't be an answer.

Not all women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their last period. This i because not all women have 28 day cycles. I know I sure don't.

Anyways, at sixteen you really aren't equipped emotionally, mentally, or financially to care for a baby. I strongly suggest to wait before you get pregnant. I'm 22, married, and a stay at home mother to a seven month old. It's not easy, by any means. And I was young when I started trying to conceive (not 16), but I was married and having a baby was a mutual decision on both our parts. I'm not trying to sound harsh at all. I'm just saying that you need to really sit down and think about things before you try to attempt getting pregnant at such an early age. You still have high school and possibly college ahead of you.

U ovulate 14 days after the first day of your last period.  They are all signs of being pregnant but I wouldn't go on just that.  If your 2 days late take a test today.  Best of luck I'm assuming you being 16 you dont want to be pregnant, so I hope it works out the way you want it to.

Yes there is definitely a chance you are pregnant, assuming you have your dates correct. Sperm can live in you for 5 days so even though it was before your ovulation dates there is still a possibility.  Wait to see if your period comes and if it doesn't take a pregnancy test.
