I agree it comes and goes...They'll have periods when they sleep through the night and others when they wake up to eat. And some nights they're just going to stay up and want some attention.

After 3 months my daughter slept through the WHOLE NIGHT :-) from 9pm to 7am and she 6 months still sleeping from 9 to 7. Before she was 3 months she woke up every two hours to feed. Im so happy she is older.

It comes and goes. You will find that so many factors go into sleep. Anything from teething to growth spurts, or colic to weather. There really isn't a "normal time" that babies sleep solidly through the night in their growth. The only person that can really give you a timetable would be your pediatrician or family doc and even then, it's really more of a guessing game based on the needs of your baby and your family. Good luck!

Well my son starred sleeping for 6 to 8 hours at night when he was two months old. However when he got to be 6 months he started teething and woke up more. He's 8 months now and sleeps through the night again for the most part.
