Yeast Infection??

I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and have always gotten yeast infections regularly and there usually BAD, my doc says that I just produce more normal bacteria than most women,  but I'm very embarrassed by it. My fiance makes jokes about it and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. I normally take AZO everyday, and it works great, I usually get them about once a month but since starting to take AZO I hardly ever get them, but the doc said that I can't while pregnant, is there anything else that I can take everyday to prevent getting them?? I know that women get them all the time but I really hate it and I get so uncomfortable while I have them I just want to not stress over them during my whole pregnancy. Maybe I make a bigger deal than I should seeing as how my fiance could care less but I could really use some advice.

I need to ask a question.... I think I am getting Yeast infections or something or thrush but its not a rashhhh I know its not an STI because I only slepted with one person and we are both in the clear for everything....anyways, starts off all dry and you just wanna itch and its sooo uncomfy all the time... But only happens after I shave (TMI) and only once every like 4 months.... but I duno what it is. I use Sudocreme and its fine.... Eventually... If that helps??

Your doctor might be able to give you something else, because like you said Yeast Infections ARE common in pregnancy so there has to be something... Your doctor or local pharmasist can tell you SO much more.. and hopefully give you something to help.

It could be a yeast infection I would just go have it looked at, But Azo really works so you could always try that, But not while PG :) !!! I will def try Sudocreme, Thanks!! I just really want something that will prevent it, not something for after I have one.... cause I KNOW I will be getting them!!!

I am 16 weeks PG LOL... Sudocreme works... I start off with a Dry patch LOL... Thats how I kinda know, I have only ever had it twice before.. LOL...
Cause it gets really sore when you itch cause it annoys you so much... So i use a period pad so my underwear doesnt irritate it more LOL... If Sudocreme doesnt work see your doc.. I am seeing mine tomorrow anyways So i will ask about it and let you know as well :)

Thanks and Congratulations!!!!! That would be awesome!!! I'm still trying to get an appt to see the OB GYN, I saw my GP on tuesday but I really want to go see the OB GYN!!!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to hear the heart beat!!!!

Awh.. Congrratulations to you too. :)
It will be hard to find at heart beat early on just to warn you, so if they cant find it at about 8 - 10 weeks DONT PANIC. Everything will be okay. I was 10 weeks  when they first heard the heart beat.. :) Okay. So dont panic LOL.....
Im now trying to get a Midwife because I apprently dont have one :(, and my doc canceled my apt for tomorrow. I am waiting for them to ring me! Cause I need a blood test for Anemia LOL... But the scan seeing your baby on a screen awhh its the best. :)

Hi, I was just on the phone to my Docs and they said I might have Thrush... Sudocreme and Canisten Duo works perfectly fine.... Thursh is basically a Yeast infection.. So Canisten and Sudocreme is FINE! :)

And you can buy them over the counter

That's good, well not good but at least you know what it is!! I hope I get to hear the heart beat, my best friend heard hers very early on so I guess I was hoping  that will be the case with me too, but no panicking I promise!! And now I know what to do when I get a yeast infection!! Thanks!!

I thought Vagiasil was for like Chafing (I cant spell at all) LOL... Basically irritation from like your legs rubbing together is what I mean LOL...?

But Yeah my Doc said Thursh cream and Sudocreme are okay, because its perfectly normal in pregnancy so they have to make it safe... Its annoying I only got it after I shave Ive had it like twice.. all after ive shaved, I thought it was just irritation LOL.....

But yeah some people are different, Depends where the baby is and things, my little Peanut just moving around so it took AGES to find LOL...

No vagisil is ment to reduce yeast infection symptoms and i would think the soap would work well cause it is daily use...

Not that I dont use soap.... That just sounded like I didnt... LOL...
I use shower gel down there... LOL... And wash everydayy LOL... But since I had this Ive been scared to use soap andd shower gel down there incase it makes it worse so I use baby wipes LOL....

Haha, Can you buy the soap over the counter cause I duno if its different here... I am seeing my doc tomorrow anyways... cause she wants to take my blood pressure but refuses to test me for anemia if I faint one more time I will go off my head!!

They said because they tested me in June and it came back 141 or something thats normal.... they wont test me again... which isnt fair. Unles I look pale tomorrow!! If I have anemia and there is something wrong with my baby, i will sue them... Because they refused!! I hate docs because they NEVER listen to me. I dont even have a midwife, I only had my booking in Apt... Thats it...

I dont have anyy.. I only wear mascara and eye liner... I might wear a little mascara no eye liner... LOL...
But then I will have to have a blood test.. I hate them But i need it, I cant keep fainting. I know it isnt low blood sugar because I take in a fair amount of sugar I eat a small bag of Haribo every hour and a half and drink 2 cans of coke a day an he rest... So i do eat sugar so it cant be that...

And they dont listen. I am also going to go mad if I dont get a midwife by next week I am 16 weeks sunday and havent had a midwife since I was 8 weeks.

Hmmm They said another one will ring me within 3 weeks and my first apt. Been 8 weeks. Still waiting

Wow that's crazy.... Do they know that you are fainting a lot? You need to demand the test tell them that you are very worried about the health of yourself and the baby and they are responsible for both of your health at the moment tell them to stop neglecting your fears cause that's not right...

Yeah I told them today, and she went Oh.
I said it starts off my legs go numb and then I will go dizzy and then go deaf and fall to the floor!


If i can get to a bench in time I wont fall but the rest happens and then I will shake for about 30 mins after even if I get sugar in me.
I am tomorrow, I will say something is not right at all, and I want tests.

You are SOO funny LOL, Not the fainting part that is scary, but the shower thing!!  I'm sure you shower!! I use vagisil in the shower and I use baby wipes cause like I said above I get very embarrassed over any kind of "thing" down there. Some times I'm just overly conscious about it!! I would really demand that they give you another blood test. This is totally new for me, having to deal with doctors all the time, I can't believe that they are refusing to give you a blood test. Is it normal for doctors to be this lax about things especially during a pregnancy??  That scares me... I hope nothing bad happens during my pregnancy!? And I really hope that everything works out great for you and the baby!! I'm sure everything is going to be fine!! Let me know what you find out when you find out something, I also hope you get your midwife soon!! On that note what exactly is the difference between having a midwife and just having a regular OB GYN??? I guess cause I'm not that far along I haven't even thought about that stuff yet.  I guess there is a lot that I haven't thought about, I really need to go see a doctor, I need help figuring all this stuff out. My problem is that my fiance and I are both out of work, we're actually about to move to another state just to get work, I don't have any insurance so I'm going to have to get help from the state, I hate it but I don't have a choice right now. The craziest part of the whole thing is how this all happened, I went to get back on birth control, I had to get a doctors Apt through the state for that and it took forever, and I went to fill my prescription, I was waiting for the Sunday after my last period and it never came!! I went and bought a home pregnancy test just to check and it was positive!! I wasn't planning on this AT ALL but now I feel blessed! But I guess I need to figure out what I'm going to do, there is so much I haven't even thought about, now I'm kinda scared. Sorry to blabber like that but I'm so unprepared and haven't really thought about it until now. Thanks for all your advise and I will be sending out super happy thoughts for you and the baby!!! I don't see how they can refuse you, I would make a huge fuss, throw a temper tantrum if you have to !!! PLEASE let me know what happens!!

Although I am 17 this was a planned pregnancy because I was preg before I found out at 22 weeks...LOL... but I was 5 stone and couldnt have the baby so I had to terminate my little girlyy, (If this one is a girl she will be called Peyton in memory) because I wanted her, Just couldnt have her...
And I live in England so I have NO clue about the Midwife thing I just know my Docs are so freaking crap!! LOL
I fainted once before the day before I found out I was preg and that WAS low blood sugar, but going Deaf I swear isnt part of low blood sugar and I had my ears cleaned out, so they aint blocked LOL....

My docs are so rubbish it annoys me.... at first they didnt listen to me about hosps. I was in hosp a few weeks ago reaction of headache tabs (The codeine) my doc said they are fine, I went back a few weeks later and they gave me a lower dose of the tablets that put me into hospital... SMART! LOL...
So I aint taken them LOL.
I will kick up a fuss dont worry LOL...
