big baby

So i know i am most likely going to have a baby, the babys in the family have been 10lbs to a whopping 13lbs!! My sister is having a pro lapse due to giving birth to her son who was to big. My mums cervix had to get removed .. ive already been told my babys on the larger side surely they should be keeping an eye on her growth to stop all this happening again???

most babies in my family are 8 1/2 pounds to 10 1/2 pound so not as big as in yours but still big....and even though my baby has been measuring big where i think it will hit 10 pounds my doctors isn't concerned , I wish they would be a little more concerned

I'm just over 5' and normally about 115lbs. My son was about 10lbs. I labored for a while and pushed, but the Dr decided we weren't making progress so I had a c-section. I'll be having another one this time around. There are advantages to having a bigger baby. This time I'm worried it won't be big. I'd be so nervous with a little peanut at this point!
