crampy

I'm 37+4 and lately I've been so crampy :/...kind of like mild period cramps..way more annoying than anything.. plus it mainly happens at night when I'm laying down...also I've been having shooting pains in my va jj on and off the whole day! A couple of them stopped me dead in my tracks...anybody experience this?? Or could tell me.what's happenin? My braxton hicks have started to come more often and I'm having pains in the bottom of my stomach....plus achy like I got the flu.  Lol sorry I'm a ftm as you KNOW...so I have no idea what's going on..

My doctor said pretty much the same thing but said that it doesn't mean that it will happen soon. Last week I was at a 2 and you can be there for a long time before anything happens.  Hopefully all of us get some relief soon and get to snuggle our babies.

Yup, its all good signs, think of it that the more your body does for you now, the less you will have of the intense labour part (hopefully!!) My second labour (it was my first natural one) only lasted 4hrs after me having the same thing as you guys and my 3rd one was less than 3hrs long! Fingers crossed for you all :)

Sounds like your body is preparing for the main event! Its horrible, but this part could last a while, I always had it for a week or so before actually going into full labour. Keep an eye on the clock when you get uncomfortable and if the contractions start to find a rhythm and increase in intensity then its time to get those bags in the car! Good luck! :)
