I had an epidural and it worked great. U can still feel most everything but it takes the edge off. It really helps so u can think about getting ur beautiful baby out and not be always thinking about the pain. Either way as soon as u see you little on you forget everything u just went through. It's like everything god away and its the perfict moment.
Yea trust me I was surprised lol I was flipping out since it didn't work.I was yelling at the nurse like I thought I wasn't suppose to feel nothing n be able to move n told her i felt like i had to poop.tmi she told me shed call the epidural doc to see if I could get another dose. Then she checked me beforw he was there n said oh no there's no time the babies gonna be here any sec.I litetally pushed five times n she was here
I've never heard of anyone walking with an epidural, that's crazy
I hope it does because anytime ive had to be numbed for dental work I never got numb and could feel it.
N after I got the epidural I could still move my legs n walk around after birth n during labor n birth. But I had the cafter for a whole day before until I gave birth cuz of the high blood n not being able to move around. But the epidural didn't work for me :( hope it works for u If u plan in gettin it
Ok I figured that just wasnt sure. Ive only ever been in the hospital to have my tonsils out and thats just outpatient so I know nothing lol
I had an eipdural but it didn't kick in all the way when I gave birth cuz I got the epidural when I was 5cm then 20 mins later I was crowning. I wasn't numb completly but I had sonething that was kinda like pins n neddles.but still pretty much felt it all.n also I was induced cuz of very bad high blood pressure that wasn't going down so I had to be put on meds to lower it n have a cafider put in cuz I wasn't allowed to move around so everytime my bladder had alil in it it wou ld just drain out in this tube into a bag. Sorry for details lol.but having that in me really hurt I still have pain from it to this day n I had my baby two months ago
I realize that might sound scary, but it isn't
After they give it to you, they give you a cathader and people will be like your peeing right now, like really? And it makes you all the way numb. You will need people to help you move your legs if you wanna move a little on the bed or something.
Once you get it, you will be like paralyzed to that bed until after the baby is out
