I am only 8 weeks andso excited. I didn't think I would be this excited but I can't wait till I can hold my baby. I am unsure if my bf is as excited. ..I think he is just scared.
It definitely takes time. My husband and I tried last year and when we thought that I was pregnant he would always rub my belly, talk to it and just be all cute but now that I actually am pregnant, it took him awhile to start getting excited. It took about 27 weeks for him to come to reality and get excited, so now I am 35 weeks and I have even found him in tears saying how ready he is to hold and kiss his son. It takes time.
My hubby and I tried for almost a year before it happened and he didn't get really excited until the first ultrasound when it really sunk in for him
I'm 8 weeks today as well!:)
My husband and I had been trying for almost 2 years and he still wasn't as excited as I am lol he is now though, just takes time:)
