Any ladies been induced on here and can tell me how bad it really is and how many ended in a C section

It's not that hard or bad! You can do it!! :) I only got one for the saftey of my son after 16 1/2 hours of no drugs. It's really not that bad!! I felt like someone was punching me in the stomach while wanting to puke. I did puke twice after eating breakfast though! So be careful with eating! And breathe! Breathing helps SO much!!

Im nervous because everyone is saying they get the epidural but I really am scared of that lol so I don't want it

My experience:
I had my son December 27th at 6:25 pm. He was born vaginally after 20 hours of labor and less than 30 minutes of pushing. Full head of hair, weight was 7 pounds 12 oz, 21 in long!

Everyone is different, depends on your body. But I was induced with my first, but all they did was break my waters and 4hrs later I had a healthy girl. I was lucky cos my labour progressed on its own. But if they break them and it doesn't then they attach a drip to make it happen and apparently it makes the contractions quite strong.

My friend had her water break, but after going to the hospital, she didn't dialate or progress on her own, so she got the pic and had her son 5 hours later. She had an epidural, and said it was one of the easiest things shes ever done lol. I think everyone reacts differently.

Mine was not bad. Contractions are stronger and closer togeather. But fortunally mine was quick. I was already 2cm so i only got the poticin. About a half hour later the contractions started and then they broke my water. Once water broke thats when it got intense so i asked for the epidural. And shot from 3cm to 10cm within 15mins of that. So i didnt get the chance to get my epidural, pushed twice and he was out :) im being induced this thur, quite nervous to see how this one goes.

Yes because the contractions are harder because of the medicine that some baby's can't handle it and they end up needing emergency c sections.

It does in some cases but they monitor u I had a nurse in my room the whole 16hrs mine was 10yrs ago so I thnk there are more safer options besides pitocion

Oh :/ that's what I keep reading and im getting scared. Is it true that it puts the baby in distress?

I was Induced w my first w pitocin it was horrible for me i was in labor 16hrs nd it was a night mate I did have him vaginal tho but everyone's body reacts diffrent to the drugs some ladies get induced nd prefer that but I dnt thnk I wud ever want to get induced again
