time to start building????

Ok so am 18 Weeks and know that's its a boy an we have started on the nursery and we also have all of the big furniture like the crib, dresser,play pen, carseat and stroller and other things I think we should  wait until later since the baby won't be here until December   but my husband is so anxious and wants to start building I came home last night and the bassinet was built I was happy but upset cuz I don't want it to collect dust should I put my foot down  or should I just let him do the building???

Let him go for it, its his way of feeling part of the pregnancy im also guessing he is alot excited. Enjoy it some of the women on this site dont have the same support and are very frustrated and angry verging on splitting with their partners. Feel really lucky sounds like you have a great man :)

I wish my disinterested and uncoordinated husband would be able to put together a simple bookcase.  His name is "Hold this Dave" because that is the only kind of help he can offer when something is being assembled.  Count your blessings, the furniture is not going to gather too much dust in the meantime.

Your lucky let him do it! We are stuck.in a two bedroom apt and already have an almost 3 year old i would.love to.have another room to get set up and ready.. And sounds like u got a giod guy :)

Id let him do his thing :) trust me I wanted that soooo bad. Its my 1st and my mans 5th. really no interest at all... so take advantage of it and feel blessed to have a man who is excited as you are....
