46 weeks pregnant?!?!

So my MIL claims my husband was due thanksgiving and he was born 12-31. I'm highly skeptical about this. She also claims to have been in labor the whole 6 weeks she was overdue. I don't think any credible doctor would let someone go that far past their due date. Thoughts?

Sophia,  no.  Doctors used to induce more than they do now.  It used to be something routine,  when you were 38 or 39 weeks.

I'm not sure why your mom thinks she went a month past her due date with nothing being done.

Ya no way to prove her wrong and she's convinced she's right - I'd just smile and nod ;)

I don't say anything to her about it but it's annoying when she uses that to make it sound like she's the queen of pregnancy or something.
