Just a vent

So my step daughter went to spend the weekend with her sister and her sisters dad and step-mom. My husband just got a call that she has lice. She has not been itching or anything at all before she went there but they are insistant she didn't get it from their house. My husband drops everything to drive to go pick her up 30 min away. He gets to their house and they aren't home so he calls them to see where they are (they knew he was coming). They are at the beach! So they want my husband to go interrupt their fun time at the beach now to pick her up. We are now wondering when they discovered the lice, was it at the beach? Or did they discover it and then go to the beach? If at the beach we are wondering if it could just be sand?? So now my husband is driving even further to the beach to get her and to top it all off all her clothes and her medicine that she has to take twice a day are still at their house! Ugh! I just don't know how she could have gotten all of a sudden...she hasn't been around anyone but me, my son, and my husband for the past week and none of us have it.

And if you do find lice, be sure to wash her bedding and spray the sofa and so on.

They sell this awesome lice comb at walgreens that you comb through the roots of the hair and it zaps the lice and kills them on the spot. It cost $20 plus batteries but it is so much easier than anything ive ever used before and after the first time doing it do it 2-3 times a week for to weeks to kill anything that may have hatched and they will be gone takes 5- 10 mins to do a whole head.

My kids got it once from school just patiently sit down and take out everysingle one and pop the eggs with ur nails.  As your doing this seperate the hair as if you were doing braids to kill them. Then do it all over again
