No cardiac activities found - 8 weeks ??

Dear ALL, I was so excited to be the dad! So was my wife... Today the doc had given us the date for a routine checkup so we went for it and she said she couldnt find any cardiac acitivities [ scan report was
1.uterus is bulky and shows a gestational sac with thin margins
2.Sac measures 3cms corresponding to 8 weeks 4 days
3.sac shows two yolk sac measures 6 & 10mm
4.Smaller yolk sac shows focal thickening with no appreciable cardiac activity
5.Larger yolk sac shows small foetal pole like structure with no appreciable cardiac activity
6.colour flow mapping reveals no vascularity
7.internal os is closed
8.both ovaries appear normal in size and echopattern

Single intra uterine gestational sac of 8 weeks 4 days GA showing two abnormal yolk sac with suspecious foetal poles without appreciable cardiac activity

possibility of monoamniotic twin gestation with blighted ovum(early pregnancy failure)

That doesn't sound good unfortunately...don't be afraid to try again though!

I am so sorry, that is all bad news.  By now you should have seen much more.  My condolences on your loss.  Please do try again, right after a miscarriage is said to be a very fertile time.
