Chard, kale, spinach. Eat it with vitamin c to help it absorb.
Iron pills are much faster and less complicated than trying to get enough dietary iron to eliminate anemia, especially if you need to bring your iron levels up to normal in a hurry. If the problem is that they give you constipation, take fiber gummies also.
You could try eating more iron rich foods. Red meat is iron rich and I'm sure you could Google more things.
Eat lean beef, and potatoes with the skin on. Try and Google some iron-rich veggies and other foods. Those are the only two off the top of my head...
