Light period, could I be pregnant?

Hi ladies, I need some advice! I am on the pill and as far as I remember I have taken all the pills ok. 10 days into taking my pills I had sex, using a condom (no sexual contact without one) and then again at16 days into my pills But this time before we actually had intercourse he rubbed his penis on my vagina for a few mins without a condom. 2 days later I had a very small amount of bloody discharge (quite dark browny/red) I finished my pills then had my bleed as normal but it seemed to me to be  bit lighter. I started my next set if pills and took all 21 correctly but my bleed this time seemed very light. There seemed to be a fair bit of red blood wen I wiped after going to the loo but hardly any on my pad.
I did a pregnancy test, which was negative. It's been  just short if 7 weeks since the last time I had sex.
Could the light bleed be because I'm pregnant or just from the pills? Thanks

Thank you. My docs won't do a blood test cos I had a negative and I'm on the pill with only unprotected sexual contact and not intercourse! They have said it's prob just my pills. I hope they are right!

It might just be the effect the pills have on your period then. If you've taken a test already after 7 weeks it would mostly like show positive of you were pregnant. I mean if you're really unsure you can get a blood test from Dr but probably not

No I've been on the pill about 7 months. I have done another test, it's been 7 weeks since the sexual contact and it was negative.im just  really worried about my light periods. I was in this pill before and had what I call normal periods then I wS off the pill for a year where I had a heavy flow with clots for about 5 days each months. Wen I went back on the pill my periods really lighten up but the lady 2 seem really light and only 4 days.

So you're saying that you recently started your pills? Because when you first get on birth control they can effect your period, your hormones, cause weight gain. I think it's just that I don't think you're pregnant
