Confused

My last period was from Dec 4, 2011 to Dec 9, 2011 and I was due to start my period again on Jan 5, 2012. I am now three weeks late. I had spotting a week before my period was due and mild cramping for a couple of weeks after that. Over the last two weeks the cramping has stopped although I am now starting to get very sore and swollen breasts. I have taken 5 HPT and they all say negative.
Could I be pregnant? What should I do now?

Thank you for replying to me again. I just took another test today and it was positive. I had an abortion in July last year but it was because my boyfriend didn't want me to keep it. We have been using condoms since, it only broke once. I must be an extremely fertile person to have two accidents in less than one year. Anyway, I really regret having my last abortion and I've struggled a lot with that decision since. This time I think I'll keep it.
I'm 19 and I only have a part time job, I still live with my mum (single mum) and my two sisters so I'm not too sure how I will make this work. I do want to find a way though.
Do you have any advice on how I make my decisions, or ways that I can receive help if I keep it?

The odds are not high. There are millions of stories of women who never tested positive with a standard urine test, but it's not common to have it occur. The most typical cause of a urine test being inaccurate is due to the female in question. Most will test too early, will test with diluted urine or a combination of the two. There are cases of where the hCG doesn't metabolize in the urine, but again this isn't common.

Thank you so much for your reply. Is there any other way I can find out if I'm pregnant? And what are the chances of me being pregnant (I would be around 7-8 weeks pregnant by now) and it not showing up on any HPT's from different brands?

You need to make a doctors appointment and have a beta blood test done. If your hCG levels are 5 and under, you know 100% you're not pregnant and additional testing can be done to see what's going on.
