Could I be pregnant?

Pregnant?

by Katiedid81, 21 hours
I was a week late on my period last month but it came on the august 29th. Unusual because I am on the pill. I then went for an ultrasound on September 12th to check everything out (my sister had to get her right Fallopian tube and ovary removed because of a non malignant tumor). He found that I have a cyst on my right ovary then when he went to discuss the results he told me that sometimes when people are on the pill they can release an egg and that is when the pill can fail. Before I went to the doctor and since I've had a lot of pregnancy symptoms like nauseousness, headaches, tiredness, dizziness, nervousness (jitters), back ache sore boobs and dull cramps that last all day sometimes. My question is; could I be pregnant? Or is this a side effect of the cyst? I'm not due for another week but I'm a little nervous. I did have unprotected sex with my long time boyfriend since I'm on the pill; and quite often.

Yes I know. Thank you. I am just seeing if anyone else has any advice on this. I'm supposed to start on Monday so I guess we will see. Been having dull cramps and the same symptoms this whole month but somethings telling me it's just the cyst. Have cramps on the right side today (the side with the cyst) so it's probably that but it's not usual for me to have these symptoms the whole month. Also been getting heartburn a lot and I NEVER get heartburn! If I'm late this week at least I know I can have another ultrasound to check everything out :)
