so what ever happened?? i am sorta having the same issues, except the movement is much lower in my body? below the navel...please tell me what you have found out>>>
It's said (I've never tested this myself) that when you get far enough into pregnancy you no longer will test positive on a urine test. But yes, you would be at least 20 weeks, as the uterus is only on par with the belly button at 20 weeks and on.
Hi again. So if I was 20 weeks pregnant (as you say that is the timeframe when u can feel baby's movements as I have), how possibly could 2 pregnancy tests show negative?? Like u say, maybe I just need to go for an ultrasound to verify and know for sure...
Your levels have no affect on the hCG levels--they're both independent of each other. Nothing will actually affect your levels other than the hCG hormone itself such as shots, some cancers, and the like.
Thanks so much for your response...it's fairly crazy to think that I might be 20 weeks along. I am tall and skinny build and so it is hard to believe that I would be that far along. I have been feeling a bit bigger lately, but never really attributed it to anything. I know the doc's think I'm crazy and they basically don't think it's anything of relevance as they don't seem too concerned to say the least. I do have thyroid issues and have not had a stabilized thyroid level for quite some time now (slowly getting closer to normal levels) which also maybe could affect the hormone level of the blood tests? I also had a chest xray done a couple of weeks ago because the dr thought I might have pnemonia. So the fact that I have thyroid issues and had xrays taken makes me worried for the baby, if it is a baby. Ahhhhh....coupled that with the headaches I've been having and being really tired. I'm not sure what to think. I just wish the dr's would take me more seriously or at least try to figure out what this "pushing" feeling is!!!
If you felt movement from your belly button to your rib cage, you would be over 20 weeks along, and likely much further. If you really think you are, go to the ER and tell them you suspect pregnancy and you're bleeding. If you ARE pregnant, there's no doubt it would show up very clearly on ultrasound.
