Is it possible to get pregnant aft unprotected sex 4 days before periods?

I had unprotected sex 4 days prior to the commencement of my period. I have not had any problems with my cycle except for the first 3 months where I was freaking out with the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy. They got delayed by 3-5 days during that time. I have never experienced morning sickness, but have been experiencing lightheadedness, slight nausea and momentary black-out when I get up from my chair or travel in the sun since a week (not to an alarming rate, but it surely has got me worked up). I bled a lot on the 1st 3 days of my period with troublesome cramps in the last 2 months. This month (which would be month 5 if I WERE pregnant), my periods arrived exactly on date, w/ the unbearable cramps I hv always experienced since my mencys started. Does this suggest that I may be pregnant? If so, what test should I get done, and how could I abort?

You can take a home pregnancy test. At five months, it would certainly be positive if you were pregnant. That said, I don't even remotely think that you're pregnant. I think your symptoms are either from being concerned that you are pregnant, or something else.

So if I read that correctly you are saying that you had unprotected sex about 5 months ago and are wondering if you are pregnant. First off you can get pregnant any time you have sex, that means 4 days before your period you CAN get pregnant, you can even get pregnant while on your period. If you have been having your period since then you are most likely not pregnant although you could be. I had heavy bleeding that I thought was my period in early pregnancy and my baby is fine. As for the abortion, that is a personal decision. If you are in fact pregnant and you are 5 months along, depending on where you live it may already be too late to have an abortion since you are so far along. In that case I would look into adoption. No one on here can tell you anything for sure so you need to consult a doctor for these kind of questions.
