I had sex the day before my period was suppose to come and now I'm 3 days late...could I be pregnant?

Hi there.  Well, ANY time you have unprotected sex you risk pregnancy.  There are more likely times than others but that doesn't mean there is any 'safe' time.  Generally, right before your period, you are finished ovulating so getting pregnant wouldn't happen.  However, you could be having an off month in which you ovulated later than normal and so having sex right before you 'expect' your period means that you are having sex when you are ovulating or there is a very rare occurrence of two eggs in one cycle.  So, it is possible to get pregnant at the time you thinking if those types of things happen.  

Was this last month--  you had sex, had a period and now are late or you are late after the sex?
