PREGNANT OR NOT???

So i use to have unregular periods n got on birthcontrol & they became pretty regular i got off july 2011 & till oct 21,2011 was my period then i didnt get one all month of november till december 1st i got my november period now its jan.9th and havent gotten my december period i think i have a 40 day period.
Could i be pregnant????
I dont want to get my hopes up like in november & me & my husband really want a baby.

Thank u for the advice, no they werent normal befor i would get them at the begining middle or end of the month but i would get them each month and after birth control they were normal 40 day periods till now.
I got no symptoms just my left breast is some what sore a little when i push around the nipple but not my right one

It took me six months to get pregnant after I got off my birth control pills. I went two months without a period. Got two periods. Skipped a period I should have got. Then conceived sometime in September.

Take an HPT. If it comes up negative take another in two weeks. Use first morning urine with both. It could be your cycles getting back to normal. Were your cycles regular before you got on the pill?
