Pregnancy after tubal?!!!!

Ok so I go to my ob doc this morning, trying to do something about my incredibly heavy periods after my tubal a year a go Monday.. And as I'm leaving the office waiting for the elevator she comes running after me.. Brings me back into the room I was just in and says.. "Your urine came back positive for pregnancy"...!!!!!... So I say "I had a tubal last year (you did it) so that's not possible.. Anyway long story short I go over for blood work (which I was going to do anyway) but she added a preg test to confirm..

My question... Is it possible to get a false Positive pregnancy test at my doctors office? This wait is going to kill me to hear back from the lab!

And btw I have 4 beautiful children all by csection and was told a 5th csection would be too risky .. Hence the tubal.. Sorry about the rant, I'm freaking out a little bit

Well to update it was a false pregnancy result.. Confirmed with a blood test and ultrasound however got some less than great news from the pap and ultrasound showing endometriosis and polycystic ovaries.. I guess false pregnancy tests do happen (weird)

Well good luck with everything! ! I imagine it is possible to have something happen. My poppa went and had a vasectomy....5 yrs later my uncle was born and is now 13.... the tube had regrown/attached itself. So maybe the same thing could happen after tubal???? A little worrisome. Hopefully yoi get your bloodwork results back soon. Let us all know what happens!
