Pregnant again?

I have a 4 month old baby (fully breast fed). On 10 Jan I got my first period since his csection birth.  I have not had a period since. I've started having strong hunger pains (which turned into morning sickness last time). Did a preg test late arvo today which was neg. Could I be pregnant again?

Great thanks girls. I might wait a bit longer before seeing the dr... I've only had the one period since having bubs, so maybe I'm just out of routine.

I agree, your cycles may not be normal for a while bc BF. Some people feel like AF is coming but then it doesn't while BF

Can't say I personally have. I would see a doctor and request a blood test. I do know that while breastfeeding your cycles might be quite irregular for some time. Good luck.

I've also just started having bad pain in my right side. Kinda like a stitch.

Still no sign of my period. I retested Tuesday morning - negative. Could it just be that my cycles are not back to normal or should I be worried?

There is an increased risk of placental abruption if  you get pregnant within one year of having a baby. This can cause hemmoraging in you and it can cause fetal death. I am not sure about any specific dangers after a csection as I don't know much about csections

Do you think it would be dangerous to be pregnant again so soon after a csection? Still no sign of my period... How many days would you go b4 re testing?

I would say yes you could be pregnant or it could be hunger from your child eating more which increases your supply and makes you hungry.

I would test again in a week if you still think pregnancy.
