What does this mean?

I had my last period in the middle of July. I was taking birth control but had to stop due to expenses. Now it's about to be month 2 of not having a period but I have had dark brown spotting on and off for the past week. Not sure what this means but I've looked it up and not many answers. Anything helps.

I'm not scared I'm pregnant but I just didn't know if it was a normal thing that happens. I was on birth Control for about 7 years.

Did you have sex after you stopped taking birth control? I'd consider maybe pregnancy but if you didn't have sex then its most likely your body readjusting. I was on birth control and when I stopped taking it it threw my period way off and I've had the brown spotting your talking about. But now I am pregnant so I have no period now! But do you have an Obgyn? If so I'd give them a call. But it probably just threw your body off. Hope this helps a little!

You can always take a test just to be sure. But I was on birth control for over five years i stopped to let my body just become natural again and I didn't have a real period for three months then I became very regular!!
