Worried, would love some advice

I had sex on the last day of my period, 4/1/14 using a condom for most of it, but some of the encounter was unprotected. He pulled out well before he finished. I've had what I thought was a tummy bug since tuesday, 14/1/14. This includes diarrhea for one day and then extreme nausea and stomach cramps ever since that don't seem to be getting any better. I am just really concerned these could be pregnancy symptoms, would they arise 10 days after sex? My period is not due for another week and a half. Been in my bed for three days with this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for replying. Took a pregnancy test today (it was negative)  and although I know it is very early on, I am thinking that if my nausea was due to the pregnancy hormone it would have shown up in some way? I will wait to retest but thank you for your advice, I will be more careful in future :)

That seems too early for nausea. Its sounds like you've got a bad bug. They can stick around for a week and make you feel terrible for days after the vomiting stops. There are some home pregnancy tests you can use before your period due date but its still too early so you'll have to wait another week or two.
Just remember, if you don't want a baby, don't have unprotected sex ever. The withdrawal method does not work.
Best of luck : )
